The Hadassah Cancer Research Institute (HCRI) took part in the impressive 4th Annual Conference of the Israeli Translational Research Network (ITRN), held at the Edith Wolfson Medical Center.

With a strong HCRI presence, our team contributed innovative insights in the fields of cancer immunotherapy, radiology innovation, artificial intelligence integration, and translational oncology.

Representing HCRI were:

  • Prof. Carlos Caldas, Professor of Oncological Medicine at the University of Cambridge, UK, and from Cancer Research UK (CRUK), Cambridge.
  • Prof. Aharon Popovtzer, Chair of the Hadassah Oncology Division.
  • Prof. Michal Lotem, Head of the Center for Melanoma and Cancer Immunotherapy and Director of the Hadassah Cancer Research Institute (HCRI).
  • Dr. Miriam Grunewald, Organoid Center, Hadassah.
  • Dr. Nir Piller, Specialist in Pathology and Molecular Diagnostics.
  • Prof. Yaakov Sosna, Chair of the Hadassah Department of Imaging and Radiology.

From RNA splicing and cancer immunotherapy to AI-driven diagnostic models, our researchers showcased the future of personalized oncology in Israel:

Personalized Medicine 2.0: Oncology in the Era of Multi-Omics and Artificial Intelligence.

A huge thank you to the ITRN network and the entire organizing committee for an inspiring day of scientific exchange, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
