Dr. Yonaton Zarbiv MD,
MSc Oncologist
Dr. Yonaton Zarbiv joined the HCRI in 2022, after completing his Oncology residency at Hadassah University Medical Center. Working in the lab of Dr. Albert Grinshpun, he and another research students are researching Urinary cfDNA as a novel biomarker in patients with bladder cancer (metastatic urothelial carcinoma harboring FGFR3 mutations) and being treated with the FGFR inhibitor erdafitinib. Additionally, Yonatan works as a sub-investigator in a number of clinical trials in Hadassah’s Oncology Department.
Dr. Yonaton Zarbiv lectures actively in the Hebrew University Medical School, Oncology Rotation and also in the School of Nursing. He was the Chief Resident in the Department of Oncology, Hadassah University Medical School (2021-2022) and is a member of the Israeli Society Of Clinical Oncology and Radiotherapy.
