Dr. Zarbiv is an attending medical oncologist in Genitourinary Oncology at Hadassah’s Sharett Institute of Oncology and a Principal Investigator at the Hadassah Cancer Research Institute. He completed a fellowship in genitourinary oncology at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto. His clinical work focuses on bladder, prostate, kidney, and testicular cancers.

His research focuses on translational studies in genitourinary cancers, with a particular interest in bladder cancer, liquid biopsy, and molecular biomarkers. Current research includes the study of cell-free DNA, cancer-associated epigenetic changes, and genomic biomarkers for cancer detection, treatment selection, and monitoring, in collaboration with researchers in cancer genomics and computational biology at HCRI and the Hebrew University.
