Accessibility arrangements at The Hadassah Cancer Research Institute (HCRI)  at Hadassah Hospital

The Hadassah Medical Organization exerts maximum effort and invests numerous resources to provide all of its customers with service that is equitable, respectful, accessible and professional. In accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998 and the regulations that were enacted by virtue of the law, measures are put into place and many resources are used to make the necessary adjustments that will ensure that any person with disabilities can receive the services provided to all Hadassah’s clientele, independently and equally.

Accessibility arrangements at the Ein Kerem and Mt. Scopus hospital buildings

Below are the accessibility arrangements you will find at the reception centers located at the hospital entrance:

  • There are accessible stations for receiving service in the reception centers.
  • There are lavatories that are handicapped accessible in the building lobbies and on the various floors.
  • There are identification and directional signs.
  • Service animals designated to help individuals with disabilities may enter the medical centers.
  • If needed, you may contact service representatives at the service center to assist with filling out forms.

Accessible customer service

  • Employees are trained to provide accessible service – training is provided to help them recognize the type of disability, create awareness among employees and provide them with practical tools for offering accessible service.
  • Accessible telephone center – the voice answering service has been made more accessible so that information is given clearly and without background music.
  • Other methods for making contact – there are several additional ways to make contact:
